that reminds me of a story
There are some examples of stories in the pdf. You could download it and see what emerges as you read them.
Have a fun time exploring stories where what's missing is found, and be willing to be surprised at just how many there are - on TV, films, books, conversations ... cultural myths ...
One you start looking for them, you'll find them everywhere.

There are many stories of "finding a way through" that are good metaphors. Someone pointed me in the direction of Joseph Campbell's works on the "Hero" as a way of understanding the deeper parts of transformational stories. I like to allow clients to search within for their own resources whenever possible. While I often use stories, I remind clients that they may choose to notice or ignore the things that may be useful to achieve what they want. They may also find something "completely unexpected" as they enjoy the peace and stillness of the deeply relaxed state.
I suppose our resources and the client's are limitless in some ways as we are ever changing and we can facilitate their own solutions while really not having to work at it.
I have begun to enjoy the course.
The Nose Monster is too scary to use, as it would give *me* nightmares.
Otherwise, a thoughtful and excellent analysis.
